By shopping on this site, you automatically accept the terms and conditions stated below. Therefore, we kindly ask you to read the terms thoroughly before you complete your purchase. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact us.

 

Procedure

In order to purchase items at shangies.com, you must fill in your personal information and payment information. Once you have chosen the item or items you wish to purchase, you may proceed to checkout.

When the order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. The payment will be withdrawn from your card when your order is shipped.

Shipping

All goods are sent from Denmark and can be shipped to selected countries in and outside of Europe. Shipping costs will appear on the order confirmation before you pay.

For orders within Denmark, a shipment fee of 49 DKK will be charged to cover shipping cost. We ship with GLS (private delivery).

For orders sent to other countries, the charges ranges depending on the destination of the goods. We ship with either GLS or UPS.

Delivery to countries outside the EU may be subject to local import taxes, which are your responsibility (where applicable). See country specific shipping costs below:

    All orders within Denmark will be delivered within 3-4 working days from the receipt of your order. All orders shipped outside of Denmark will be delivered within 10-12 working days from from the receipt of the order.

    We always pack everything carefully, in order to reduce the risk of damage.

    In case of delays caused by the shipping company, Shangies.com cannot be held responsible.  We kindly ask you to verify the content upon delivery. Should the package or the content be damaged upon arrival, please report it to the shipping company immediately, or no later than two days after receiving it. Then return the purchased items to us. Shangies.com is not responsible for any items damaged during transportation.

     

    Payment methods

    At shangies.com we accept the following cards:

    VISA/DANKORT, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. 

    All prices are indicated in DKK & EUR and include a 25% Danish sales tax/VAT or a local VAT tax.

     

    Returns

    Any items can be returned, exchanged or refunded by shangies.com within 14 days of receipt.

    All items must be returned in their original packaging in the same state they were received. Returns and exchanges are processed at your own risk and expense and is to be handled by you. 

    If you wish to return your order, you have the following options:

    1. Option 1: Return and exchange at our showroom (address: Lipkesgade 28, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark). Please notice we have limited opening hours. We’re open Wednesday 9-16:30 and Friday 9-16.
    2. Option 2: Log into your account and request a return for the item(s) you want to return. See the step-by-step guide below ↓ 
      Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Lipkesgade 28, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark. 
    3. Option 3: Contact us at maria@shangies.com with your order number and the reason for returning.

    Before sending back the item, we will provide you with directions for return. Please note that any expenses included in the return must be covered by you.

    Once we have received the returned items and checked that the state of the items meets our return requirements, we will credit the amount to the card used for the purchase. 

    *Please note that there are no standard shapes and sizes for feet, so an online purchase must be made using an estimate. We have provided a Size guide on shangies.com which can be a helpful tool to ensure you purchase the correct size.

     

    How to submit a return request:

    Click the profile icon in the store's navigation or go to the shipping and return page to find a link to your account, and then request a return.

    1. Log in to your account:
      1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
      2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
      3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
    2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

    3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

    4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

    5. Click Request return.

    Once we have received your request return we will provide you with directions for return. Please note that any expenses included in the return must be covered by you. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

    Security

    To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, shangies.com uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. An SSL is a protocol that encrypts your information to keep it secure while being transmitted via the Internet. It is not possible neither for us nor any other unauthorized entity to see or read data, which is exchanged in connection with the purchase.

     

    Notifications of defects

    Shangies.com trades in accordance with the guidelines and laws established by the National Consumer Agency of Denmark. Complaints can be made in accordance with the rules established by the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This means that you can make a complaint of defects and faults in the product, which has occurred within 24 months after the purchase. This does, however, not apply to defects, damages or wear caused by misuse, lacking maintenance or ordinary wear and tear. In connection with complaints, defects and faults or non-delivery of goods, please contact us at maria@shangies.com .

    If the complaints are justified, you will get a refund of your shipping costs within reason. When returning an item, please provide us with as many details as possible about the problem. Please make sure the item is delivered safely and make sure to get a receipt for the shipping in order to claim back the amount.

     

    Colours

    We cannot guarantee that colors at the website are fully equivalent to the items’ actual colors, as this depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.

     

    Custom and sales TAX/VAT

    If you order from an EU country, you pay Danish VAT but no customs duty in accordance with the rules of free movement of goods. However, if you order from a country outside the EU, local taxes and duties may be added, for which we cannot be held responsible. However, the Danish VAT will be deducted. If this is the case, the carrier will contact you. Please note that this could involve some delay of the consignment, as the goods are retained by the customs. From this point, it is your responsibility to contact the carrier and pay for the added additional costs.

     

    Pricing policy

    Shangies.com reserves the right to change prices of the products. The prices of the products will, during the time of placing an order, be valid throughout that specific process.

    Shangies.com cannot be held responsible for any currency changes or currency exchange rates any bank may have when exchanging the EUR into any other currency.

     

    Disclaimer

    Shangies.com cannot be held responsible for items that are out of stock at the time of purchase.Typos, changes in delivery from our suppliers and unforeseen delays that shangies.com cannot control can occur, and we are not to be held accountable for these.
